How to Read a Male Enhancement Label in 5 Steps
Read five things in order: serving size and servings, the proprietary blend, other ingredients, the distributor line, and the disclaimer. A blend shows one total weight, so per-item doses stay hidden. The FDA statement on a label means the claim was not evaluated. Use Stallion Power's label as a worked example.

Step 1: serving size and servings
Start with how much counts as one serving. Every other number depends on it.
To read a male enhancement label, take the steps in order. Stallion Power sets a serving at 1 gummy, with 30 servings per container and directions to take 1 gummy once daily, or as directed by a qualified health care professional. A bottle with a serving of three capsules holds one third as many days. Divide first, compare later. Our supplement facts guide types out the whole panel.
Step 2: the proprietary blend
A proprietary blend lists several ingredients under one weight. Under 21 CFR 101.36, items without a Daily Value are listed in descending order of predominance, and the blend line shows the total, not each item (21 CFR 101.36, Supplement Facts). That is a lawful format. It also means you cannot read a dose for any one ingredient (21 CFR 101.36, Supplement Facts).
The Stallion Power blend is 82 mg, equal to about 567 mg of dry powders, across nine lines. Because order is by weight and caffeine is printed at 5 mg in place five, the last four lines can weigh no more than 5 mg each. That is arithmetic on a printed label, not a lab result, and a real gummy can hold less.
| Place | Ingredient | Ceiling |
|---|---|---|
| 6 | Ashwagandha | 5 mg |
| 7 | L-arginine | 5 mg |
| 8 | Tribulus Terrestris | 5 mg |
| 9 | Horny Goat Weed Extract | 5 mg |
Step 3: other ingredients
This line shows what the gummy is made of besides the active items. Stallion Power lists corn syrup, cane sugar, water, apple pectin, sorbitol liquid, natural flavors, citric acid and sodium citrate dihydrate. The panel shows 3 g of added sugar per gummy, 6% of the Daily Value, and 10 calories. The AHA suggests no more than about 9 teaspoons of added sugar a day for men (AHA, Added sugars). Sorbitol can have a laxative effect only in large amounts (21 CFR 184.1835, Sorbitol).
Also read the warning. The label says to consult your doctor if you are pregnant or nursing, take medications or have a medical condition, and to stop use if any adverse reaction occurs.

A distributor line names who answers for the bottle. The Stallion Power label reads Pinellas Park, FL 33781 and (888) 338-0317. It names no manufacturer, facility or lab, so we never say who makes it. Our sales page and checkout use other contacts, so confirm yours at purchase. Step 5: the disclaimer and the claims
The FDA statement says the claims were not evaluated and the product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease (FDA, Structure/function claims). Treat front words such as "BOOST PERFORMANCE†" as marketing, not as findings.
Only a drug can make disease claims (FDA, Structure/function claims). Advertisers also need competent and reliable scientific evidence for health claims (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance).
Keep taking prescribed medicine, and ask a doctor or pharmacist before adding a supplement if you use nitrates or an ED drug.
Next step: pick any bottle you own and tick off the five steps.
FAQ01
Stallion Power questions people ask
Does a printed disclaimer mean the product is safe?
No. The statement says FDA has not evaluated the claim and the product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease (FDA, Structure/function claims). It is a legal notice, not a safety finding.
Can a label show the real dose of each ingredient?
Only if the maker lists them separately. Inside a proprietary blend, the line shows the total weight and the items in descending order (21 CFR 101.36, Supplement Facts).
