Low Testosterone Symptoms: Signs and When to Test
Low testosterone symptoms include low sex drive, erectile problems, low energy and loss of muscle. The same signs also come from stress, poor sleep, depression, diabetes and medicines, so a symptom list cannot confirm anything. A doctor decides with symptoms plus a morning blood test (MedlinePlus, Testosterone test) (AUA, Testosterone Deficiency Guideline).

Which signs point to low testosterone?
No single sign proves it. Doctors look at a pattern of symptoms and then at a blood result.
MedlinePlus lists the symptoms of low testosterone in men who have gone through puberty. They include low sex drive, erectile dysfunction, infertility, enlarged breasts, a lack of facial or body hair, thinning bones or anemia without a known cause, and loss of muscle mass (MedlinePlus, Testosterone test).
| Symptom | Other things that can cause it |
|---|---|
| Low sex drive | Stress, anxiety, depression, some medicines (NIDDK, ED causes) |
| Erectile dysfunction | Diabetes, heart and blood vessel disease, smoking, alcohol, medicines (NIDDK, ED causes) |
| Loss of muscle mass | Inactivity and poor diet (Harvard Health, ED) |
| Tiredness and low mood | Sleep conditions, depression, chronic stress (Mayo Clinic, Erectile dysfunction) (AUA, Testosterone Deficiency Guideline) |
| Infertility | Many causes; a doctor sorts them out |
Why do other conditions look the same?
The American Urological Association says the symptoms of testosterone deficiency are nonspecific. They can reflect other conditions, such as chronic fatigue, chronic stress or a depressed state (AUA, Testosterone Deficiency Guideline).
NIDDK lists low testosterone and thyroid imbalance among the causes of erectile problems. It also lists diabetes, obesity, nerve damage, anxiety, depression and some common medicines (NIDDK, ED causes). Mayo Clinic adds sleep conditions and tobacco use (Mayo Clinic, Erectile dysfunction).
If you have two or three of these signs, do not decide the cause yourself. Write down what you notice and for how long, then book a visit. Keep taking any prescribed medicine until the doctor says otherwise.
How is low testosterone tested?
The test is a blood sample. MedlinePlus says it is usually drawn in the morning, between 7 and 10, when testosterone is typically highest. Some cases need fasting (MedlinePlus, Testosterone test).
The public page gives no numeric normal range, so we give none. Your doctor reads the number next to your symptoms.
The AUA guideline for erectile dysfunction says a morning total testosterone should be measured in men with ED symptoms (AUA, Erectile Dysfunction Guideline). The same guideline asks for a full medical, sexual and psychosocial history and a physical exam.
- Note your symptoms. Write down what changed, when it started and how often it happens.
- List everything you take. Include supplements, herbs and gummies.
- Ask for a morning blood draw. Early timing matters.

See packsWhen does low testosterone need treatment?
The AUA defines testosterone deficiency as low testosterone levels combined with symptoms or signs. A man is a candidate for therapy only when both are present (AUA, Testosterone Deficiency Guideline).
This is a medical decision. It is not something a gummy can make for you, and the Stallion Power label does not claim to treat it. The label lists nine lines in an 82 mg blend and no hormone. See the supplement facts for the full panel.
Products sold for sexual enhancement can also hide drugs not on the label (NCCIH, Using Dietary Supplements Wisely). Tell your doctor about everything you take; see supplements and medications.

If you notice several of these signs for more than a few weeks, ask for a visit and a morning blood test. Read the guide to erectile causes and doctor visits to prepare, and the sexual health basics for background.

FAQ01
Stallion Power questions people ask
Can a supplement fix low testosterone?
The AUA ties treatment to a confirmed low level plus symptoms (AUA, Testosterone Deficiency Guideline). A dietary supplement is not a way to diagnose or treat that. Ask your doctor before trying one.
