Male Enhancement Supplement Reviews: How to Judge Them
Treat male enhancement supplement reviews as marketing until proven otherwise. Check who is paid, whether the reviewer bought the product, whether the claims match the label and whether any evidence is cited. Since October 21, 2024, an FTC rule prohibits writing or selling fake consumer reviews, but you still have to check.

Why reviews in this category are hard to trust
Most review pages in this category earn money when you click, so the verdict is rarely neutral.
A site that ranks products and links to checkout is usually an affiliate. We are in that group too: we earn money through order links, and we say so on every page. Read our editorial standards to see the rules we follow.
The FTC's Consumer Reviews and Testimonials Rule went into effect on October 21, 2024. It prohibits writing or selling fake or false consumer or celebrity reviews (FTC, Consumer Reviews and Testimonials Rule Q&A). A rule helps, but it does not tell you which page you are reading. FTC guidance also says advertisers need a reasonable basis, meaning competent and reliable scientific evidence, before they make health claims (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance).
A seven-point check for any review
| Check | Good sign | Warning sign |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Who is paid? | Disclosure near the top | No disclosure, or a buried one |
| 2. Did they buy it? | Says how the product was obtained | Stock photos, no order detail |
| 3. Label read? | Quotes the Supplement Facts | Only repeats the front claims |
| 4. Evidence? | Names sources you can open | "Clinically proven" with no link |
| 5. Downsides? | Lists cost, sugar, side effects | Every point is positive |
| 6. Ratings? | Explains how scores are built | Round scores, no method |
| 7. Doctor advice? | Tells you to ask a clinician | Suggests stopping medicines |
Run these on any page, including ours.
Star ratings and lists
A star score only helps if you know who gave it and how. A page that shows a rating with no count, no source and no dates gives you nothing to check. We do not print a score for Stallion Power because we have no verified source for one. Our reviews page explains what we did find and what we did not.
The same caution applies to testosterone booster reviews. Searches such as testosterone booster reviews 2025 or testosterone booster reviews UK return many ranked lists. We did not find that rank order reflects testing. A ranked list is a placement, and placements can be bought. We give local prices or local law for none of those regions, because we have no source for them.

See packsWhat a useful review would say
A review you can use does not tell you the product works. It tells you what the label lists, what the studies on each ingredient can and cannot say, what the seller promises and what the buyer pays.
- Quotes the label exactly.
- Names the guarantee terms and who pays return shipping.
- Says what could not be verified.
- Promises results or a timeline.
- Claims a doctor or celebrity endorsement without proof.
- Hides the order link's commission.
Some products sold for sexual enhancement have been found to contain drugs not listed on the label (NCCIH, Using Dietary Supplements Wisely). A review cannot detect that. Only a lab can.

Before you trust any page, spend two minutes with the table above. Then compare the claims with the label on our reviews page. If you decide to order, use the official route and keep your order ID.
