Male Enhancement Supplements and Heart Disease Safety
If you have heart disease, talk to your doctor before using a male enhancement supplement. Erection problems can signal heart trouble, and some blend ingredients can raise blood pressure or, in case reports, heart rhythm. Stallion Power lists 5 mg of caffeine and eight other ingredients with undisclosed amounts. Never stop heart medicine because of a supplement.

Why the heart comes first
Erection trouble and heart disease are linked, so the heart question comes before the supplement question.
Mayo Clinic says ED can be a sign of a health condition that needs treatment, and a risk factor for heart disease (Mayo Clinic, Erectile dysfunction). The AUA tells clinicians to counsel men that ED is a risk marker for cardiovascular disease (AUA, Erectile Dysfunction Guideline). Harvard Health calls it a possible early warning sign for heart disease or high blood pressure (Harvard Health, ED).
The AHA says it is probably safe to have sex if your heart disease has stabilized. Unstable angina or severe symptoms need treatment first, and you should ask a clinician before resuming activity (AHA, Sexual activity and heart disease). Do not stop heart medicines because of concerns about sex drive (AHA, Sexual activity and heart disease).
Blend lines that touch the heart
| Ingredient | Heart-related note | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Caffeine, 5 mg | Too much can raise heart rate, cause palpitations and raise blood pressure. 400 mg a day is the general figure for most healthy adults. | (FDA, Caffeine) |
| Green tea extract | Supplements can raise blood pressure. | (NCCIH, Green tea) |
| L-arginine | May lower blood pressure. After an acute heart attack, supplements may raise the risk of death. May worsen peripheral artery disease. | (MSK, Arginine) |
| Horny goat weed | One case report of a fast heart rhythm and agitation in an elderly man with significant heart disease. | (Drugs.com, Horny goat weed) |
| Tribulus | Additive lowering with blood pressure medicines; relevance unknown. | (MSK, Tribulus terrestris) |
| Ashwagandha | May interact with blood pressure medicines. | (NCCIH, Ashwagandha) |
These are cautions and case reports. None proves harm at the amount in a gummy.
How big is the caffeine?
The label prints caffeine at 5 mg. FDA cites 400 mg a day as an amount not generally linked to harm in most healthy adults, and a 12 oz green tea has about 37 mg (FDA, Caffeine). So 5 mg is a small share of that figure. It does not make the gummy risk-free for every person, such as someone with a rhythm condition.
The other eight lines share what is left of the 82 mg blend. Ceilings are arithmetic from the descending-order rule (21 CFR 101.36, Supplement Facts), not lab results, and a real gummy can hold less. Our supplement facts page has them all.

The sales page includes the line “Promote healthy blood circulation to support cardiovascular function”. We quote it and do not endorse it. For the herbs on this label, the sources read describe limited or no human evidence for sexual or circulation benefits (Drugs.com, Muira puama) (Drugs.com, Horny goat weed) (Catuaba, Trichilia catigua review). The ED review calls its trials pilot-level (Koolwal 2019, L-arginine and ED). No source we read shows that this gummy supports the heart.
- take nitrates or any heart, blood pressure or rhythm medicine (MedlinePlus, Sildenafil)
- had a heart attack, have angina or peripheral artery disease (MSK, Arginine) (AHA, Sexual activity and heart disease)
- have palpitations or sensitivity to caffeine (FDA, Caffeine)
What to do next
Book a visit and bring the bottle. Our guide to when to see a doctor lists what to raise, and the medicines guide covers interactions.
Call emergency services for chest pain, fainting, or an erection that lasts longer than four hours (MedlinePlus, Sildenafil). Stop the gummy and call your doctor if any adverse reaction occurs, as the label says. Keep taking prescribed medicine.
