Nugenix Total-T Ingredients: A Neutral Label Read

Quick answer

The Nugenix record we could read lists zinc, vitamin B6, vitamin B12 and a 2103 mg "Testosterone Complex" of fenugreek extract, L-citrulline malate and Tribulus terrestris. The amounts of those three are not printed. The record is an older label, so check your current bottle before you compare anything.

The Stallion Power label prints one 82 mg blend. The Nugenix record we read prints one 2103 mg blend.

What the label record lists

The record names six items and one blend. Only the blend hides its parts.

We read an entry in the NIH Dietary Supplement Label Database for a Nugenix product sold as a "natural testosterone booster". The record is older than the current "Total-T" name, and labels change. Treat it as a snapshot, not today's bottle. We did not find a manufacturer named on the record.

The blend is made of Testofen fenugreek extract (50% fenuside), L-citrulline malate and Tribulus terrestris fruit. The record gives no amount for any of the three.

What a blend total can and cannot tell you

A total of 2103 mg sounds large. It is a sum, not a dose of any one plant. In the US a proprietary blend lists its parts in descending order by weight (21 CFR 101.36, Supplement Facts). If the record lists the three parts in that order, the first would weigh at least one third of the total, about 701 mg. That is arithmetic on a printed record, not a lab result.

Why this matters

Two blends with the same total can hold very different amounts of each part. Without per-ingredient amounts you cannot compare doses with any study.

The one ingredient we can speak to is Tribulus terrestris. A systematic review of 11 studies concluded that the evidence to date suggests it is ineffective for raising testosterone (Qureshi 2014, Tribulus review). We read nothing on fenugreek or L-citrulline for this post, so we say nothing about them.

Nugenix and Stallion Power side by side

The two products share Tribulus terrestris and little else. One is a capsule with a large blend. The other is a gummy with a small one.

For our own label we use the same rule. The caffeine line is printed at 5 mg in place 5, so lines 6 to 9 are each no heavier than 5 mg. Our ceilings are on the supplement facts page, with the same caveat: a real gummy can hold less.

How to check the current Nugenix label

  1. Open the bottle or the brand's own product page. Read the Supplement Facts panel, not the front.
  2. Find the serving size. The record we read uses 3 capsules, so compare per serving.
  3. Look for per-ingredient milligrams. If a blend lists no amounts, note that and move on.
  4. Read the warning line. It should say what to do if you take medicine or have a condition.

We also did not check whether any FTC or court action involves this brand, so we make no statement either way. For a method that works on any brand, see our label comparison guide.

Next step

If you are weighing any testosterone or enhancement product, write down the serving size and the blend total first. If you have low desire, erection trouble, heart disease or take nitrates, talk to a doctor. Keep taking prescribed medicine.
