Testosterone Booster Brands: How to Compare Labels

Quick answer

Compare testosterone booster brands on five printed facts: form, serving size, whether each ingredient shows an amount, whether a blend hides the split, and the warning text. Brand names, athlete links and star counts are not label facts. We describe only brands whose labels we could open.

Brands people search, and what we checked

We describe a brand only when we opened its label. Otherwise we only name it.

Searches such as adaptophen testosterone booster, bl nutrition testosterone booster, mars testosterone booster, muscletech testosterone booster and rut testosterone booster are common. We could not open a usable label for any of those five. One retailer page for Rut showed no Supplement Facts panel. The MuscleTech retailer page failed to load. So we say nothing about their contents, doses or claims.

The same goes for celebrity pairings such as testosterone booster carl froch. We found no verified link between any athlete and a product, and a name in a search does not prove one exists. See our guides for how we judge claims.

We could open labels for two brands, and a record or listing for each. Both are older or retailer-sourced, so check the bottle.

Five checks that work on any bottle

  1. Form. Capsule, caplet, gummy or powder. The form sets the serving size and the other ingredients.
  2. Serving size. Count what one dose really is. A 2-caplet serving and a 1-gummy serving are not the same comparison.
  3. Amounts. Does each ingredient show milligrams, or only a blend total?
  4. Blend rule. In the US a blend lists its parts in descending order by weight (21 CFR 101.36, Supplement Facts). The first line is the heaviest.
  5. Warning text. Look for advice on medicine, pregnancy and conditions, plus the FDA disclaimer.

The FDA does not approve dietary supplements before they are sold (FDA, Q&A on dietary supplements). A claim on the front of a bottle has not been checked by the agency for you.

Three labels, same five checks

Labels we could open. Nugenix and SIXSTAR facts come from an NIH record and a retailer listing.

Where Stallion Power fits

Stallion Power prints an 82 mg proprietary blend, described on the label as equivalent to about 567 mg of dry powders. Place 5 is caffeine at 5 mg, so lines 6 to 9 are each no heavier than 5 mg. That is a ceiling from arithmetic on a printed label, not a lab result, and a real gummy can hold less. The ceilings are on the supplement facts page.

What a comparison cannot tell you

No label shows that a finished product works. We found no trial of a finished formula for erectile dysfunction in this category. A label shows what is in the bottle, not what it does for you.

Our side-by-side notes are in Stallion Power vs other male enhancement. We earn money through order links, so read our brand claims with that in mind.

Next step. Pick the two brands you are weighing and fill in the five checks for each. If a label cannot be read, skip that brand. Talk to a doctor if you have heart disease, diabetes or take nitrates. Keep taking prescribed medicine.
